Nike - Go for Gold
The Brief:
Create a campaign that you have an interest in, think about the target audience, cultural and social influences and their impact on consumer behaviour and choice. Next using one of the two trends below (I chose Magic & Metaphysical), develop an advertising campaign for your chosen brand. It should include an expansive print campaign, Out of Home Advertising, a cross platform social media campaign and a storyboard (which isn't included in this project but was submitted) and also a research PDF demonstrating an understanding of socio/demographic groups, changing consumer trends and consumer behaviour. (The PDF was also submitted too)
This is for a university resit project, I am not affiliated with Nike or any of the people featured.
Main Print Campaign:
The posters showcase a Nike sponsored athlete in the centre of the poster, the background is based on the sponsored athlete where they were born and have lived in for a majority of their life. There's also torn paper cut outs from the athlete’s events in the past. Some of their parts become a gold liquid or gold metal. There is also a paper overlay to give the effect of a poster and also am urban style due to Nike being normally an urban brand.
Out of Home Advertising (Statue):
Here is a example of how the Out of home advertising would look, it would be around shopping centres like Cribb's Causeway’s Mall and also St David’s Shopping Centre as a few examples of places, it showcases a Greek royal statue in gold wearing Nike which showcases this great statue which shows greatness of Nike.
Cross Platform Campaign:
The campaign will be based on Twitter which will show a quote, a direct objective for people to click a link which will then take them from one social media platform to another, in this case I have chosen Twitter to YouTube for it being their best tool for making a message.
